Killing Heidi's New Single is OUT NOW!

The single, the first for Killing Heidi since the release of their hugely successful debut album Reflector, was the # 1 most added track at Australian radio last week and was reported as making the highest debut on the Australian National airplay chart at number 11.
Killing Heidi have also just been confirmed to join our Australian
peacekeeping force in East Timor for "Tour De Force 3". The band will play a number of concerts for Australian personnel, UN Peacekeeping Force members and the local community. The tour begins in Balibo on 11th December 2001.

Here's some very cool news - Killing Heidi has been decorated with yet *another* award in their homeland of Australia. Ella and Jesse received the songwriter of the year award from the Australian Performing Rights Association, or APRA for short.
The big news this week is that "Mascara" is going to Top 40 radio stations in the US on Tuesday, the 19th. Now you may ask… Top 40 radio - Alternative radio - what's the big difference? Sometimes, not a whole lot. In this case, instead of hearing KH between Tool and Limp Bizkit, you'll hear them between Janet and Nelly Furtado. This is cool cause it means that now even more American music fans will have the chance to find out about Killing Heidi. So this is the week to exert your fan power to make the biggest impact and let the folks at your local stations that you want to hear "Mascara." Radio stations across America have started playing 'Mascara.' These stations have all played 'Mascara' at least once, so listeners have gotten a small taste of Killing Heidi, but we still need to get way more spins. If you're in any of these areas, please start calling the stations to request "Mascara" so that they know the fans are out there. And be sure to tell your friends too! Adam is on the front cover of the December/January/February issue 'Drum Scene.' It also includes a 4 page interview with him.
Killing Heidi will have now finished their American tour. Congratulations to Adam, Ella, Jesse and Warren!
Reflector now comes with a bonus disc, containing 11 tracks, including Kettle and some live performances, as well as some CDRom video clips.
