Killing Heidi: we are great thanks, we have been rehearsing, its good to have a break

Moderator: You have been nominated for 7 ARIA awards, what awards do you think your in with a chance of winning?

Killing Heidi: we have nooo idea, there are so many other good bands in the same catagory so we aren't too sure, we would like to win "best album"

Moderator: Caveman : You have been nominated for 7 Aria's ; did you ever think the band would get this far, and in what ways has this exceeded your expectations?

Killing Heidi: i think we hoped it would get this far but you never know.... yes it did excede our expectations, definately

Killing Heidi: between all 4 of us they all vary, metal, jazz, folk , alternative, we just like it all as long as its good haha

Moderator: Heidi_killing_Back : when did you start ur music carear?

Killing Heidi: Ella - i started when i was 12 and wrote my first song and after that jessie and i started Killing Heide - Adam - warren and i started playing at a young age, about 14-15... but then we are a bit older too haha

Moderator: KillingHeidiChick : Have you prepared you ARIA acceptance speech yet?

Killing Heidi: hahhaa noooo ..that could be jumping the gun, we will have to play that one by ear... we are just hoping

Moderator: surfy_sonic : u guys rock!!! is there a plan for you to tour sydney????

Killing Heidi: we are coming up for the arias, we will be there partying but i'm not sure about shows... we have played a lot of gigs in sydney though

Killing Heidi: absolutely, we are playing superman supergirl

Moderator: aussie_music23 : who else do you think will pick up an award?

Killing Heidi: ooohhhhh..... maybe 28 days, vanessa.... maddisson avenue, and i think savage garden will get highest selling

Killing Heidi: most definately... ooh yeah, when it goes well there is nothing that compares, it's unreal

Moderator: What is the your most favourite place that you have performed? and why?

Killing Heidi: one of my favourite places would be ANY Big Day Out, there is such a great vibe

Killing Heidi: hahahahah plenty, i remember one time Adam had a bit of cheese on his head, after the olympics, he was asleep and we put a bit of cheese on his head.... hahaha.... it was really funny

Killing Heidi: we came up with it a few years ago, we wanted something very contrasting, the words killing and heidi stuck out because one (Heidi) is soft, and killing is hard and represents the hard side of the music

Moderator: Dready^Nova : What is the weirdest/Best pressie you were given at an instore?

Killing Heidi: Adam - i was given a book by a young guy, like a diary, it had a photo of him in it, and he asked me to give him a call if i ever needed a partner, he was pretty cute Ella - i've had lots of flowers

Moderator: madkat182 : if you could choose anyone in the world to do a song with who would it be?

Killing Heidi: it would probably be a couple of bands, the phoo fighters would be great, i'd like to do a duet with bob dylan but i don't know about the likelyness of that

Moderator: KillingHeidiChick : Do you plan to tour other places besides the main cities?

Killing Heidi: most definately, we can't wait to do a rural tour away from the main cities

Killing Heidi: yes i love it, it was really refreshing, it was a bit more behind the scene

Moderator: aussie_music23 : how much air play have you got in the US?

Killing Heidi: at the moment we are starting to receive a fair bit with weir, we have been getting a lot of emails from people who have heard it .... it takes a long time to break through in the US, its not like australia

Killing Heidi: so far yes its been great ... a lot of positive reactions from radio and tv people

Killing Heidi: umm.... i think for me and the boys its jar lable... Ella- i love that one too but i really like mascara because the crowd reaction is good

Killing Heidi: hahah a weir is a large body of water, like a dam, it services the town with its water supply and i use to swim in our local one

Killing Heidi: i don't really know daniel, but the boys get along with his band and i think he's lovely

Killing Heidi: its kind of a tricky one, it came to me in a dream so i don't really know what its about, but i think its a bit of an alice in wonderland thing and find the bottles she has to drink from where one makes her big and one makes her small

Killing Heidi: nooo none that we have encountered, australians are always considered the underdog so we all try to support each other ..... we are all in it together... you know, fight the good fight

Killing Heidi: hahah well rang each other, we were all in different places doing different things and we all totally freaked... my mum was screaming hahahah

Killing Heidi: ummmm....... i don't know... i remember writing it in art class when i was in yr 10, its a daring kind of song, kind of like, are you really that good

Killing Heidi: superman/supergirl, they were all fun but this one was different .... we had a lot of fun with weir too, maybe too much fun, it wasn't really work

Killing Heidi: oohhh i love that pencil ....i have actually, i've been writing down lyrics to poems, mostly to other peoples music though

Killing Heidi: if its bionic building yes haha we like playing with them, yes definately we do, i also like loki

Moderator: Caveman : Has the band been working on any new material together, or has in just been writing individually so far?

Killing Heidi: its been a bit seperate, jessie and i have been writing at our seperate houses then them getting together and writing some more, but we have been thinking about our next album

Moderator: KillingHeidiChick : Are you looking forward to playing at the music expo at Fox Studios?

Killing Heidi: YES its going to be great, it will be a good day for all those who go

Moderator: Maddock : What's it like being the only gal in the band, Ella?

Killing Heidi: ummm... .sometimes its great, sometimes its hell ..... it can get a little much but in other ways its ... handy

Moderator: Caveman : The band recently declined to perform at the AFL Grandfinal due to it not being true to the band (which I agree with). Are there any other gigs which you have declined for the same reasons?

Killing Heidi: ummm i have't heard anything about the grand final.... but there other gigs we have declined, but there are other ones we have put our hand up for its all about political beliefs, we have to all agree before we do something

Moderator: drusilla : your songs have changed the meaning of music to my life. I would just like to thank you so much for that!

Moderator: Schizophrenic : what are your thoughts on the distribution of mp3's over the internet through programs such as napster?

Killing Heidi: at the moment aria have only just become aware of new legislation relating to online music, with everything being so up in the air its hard to give a resonse as we don't know that much about it, if bands want to list songs on napster thats ok but i think swapping bootlet songs is a bit disrespectful to artists....

Killing Heidi: we have done some tiny gigs, shepperton at the yahoo bar, which is a great venue mind you and the largest would be the domain gig for the olympics
